This book is written by Tasos Theofilou, a man who lived inside Greek prisons and, after his release, did not stop observing and writing about them. In other words, a man who experienced them doubly, as a prisoner and as an observer of their daily life, transforming his personal experience into a language capable of standing against the stereotypes produced by the news, committees, and directors.

And it is a brief dive into the blind spot of Greek social formation and its institutions, where rights are annulled by the very enforcement of those rights.
