Basketball hoop that complies with the official rules of the game of basketball.

The basketball hoop features the following characteristics:

• inner diameter of 450mm
• steel profile diameter of 16mm
• orange color
• allows the addition of a net to the support loops, with no sharp edges and a distance of less than 8mm to prevent finger injuries
• the hoop is flexible and has a double shock absorber. The pressure release mechanism is designed to not damage the hoop or its base and to ensure player safety

These flexible hoops, also known as breakaway rims, allow the hoop to bend downwards when a basket is made and then quickly return to a horizontal position when the player releases the hoop. Since 1970, the American Basketball Association has increasingly published the dunk, and modern era players, with their athletic jumps toward the hoop, have increased the demand for such flexible hoops.

The hoop can be mounted on a base (not included in the packaging) using the included accessories.
