The Crosman Express Hunter REHNP22SX air rifle uses a Nitro Piston (NP2) gas-piston mechanism and has no secondary recoil. It features a polymer body and a PVC stock with a rubber butt pad, as well as a rifled steel barrel. It uses lead diabolo pellets.
The fiber-optic sights are adjustable, while the single-action trigger can be adjusted to two positions. The safety is located on the trigger. Two additional scope rings are included; the scope is not included.
