So: Yes, the machine is easy to use and functional with a simple press of the buttons, making very good and aromatic hot espresso coffee, but: you CANNOT make an iced freddo, because the very high temperature that the machine reaches during the coffee brewing/extraction, with the coffee flowing out hot, immediately melts any ice cubes that have been put in the glass, with the result that even if you add very cold water afterward to the glass, at best the freddo will come out very diluted and at a lukewarm temperature, and certainly not iced. Even if you put ice-cold water directly into the machine’s water tank, it will necessarily heat it during the coffee-making process. So: Yes, the machine is easy to use and functional with a simple press of the buttons, making very good and aromatic hot espresso coffee, but: you CANNOT make an iced freddo, because the very high temperature that the machine reaches during the coffee brewing/extraction, with the coffee flowing out hot, immediately melts any ice cubes that have been put in the glass, with the result that even if you add very cold water afterward to the glass, at best the freddo will come out very diluted and at a lukewarm temperature, and certainly not iced. Even if you put ice-cold water directly into the machine’s water tank, it will necessarily heat it during the coffee-making process. And there is no button or switch that will send only the cold water into your glass in case you have put such water in the tank. So, in conclusion: If you only want hot espresso, it is an ideal machine, but for iced freddo forget it and prefer the classic frappe maker or a hand mixer to achieve truly cold coffee. I bought it so I could also make freddo, but unfortunately I got burned and was left with a machine only for hot coffee.
Λοιπόν: Ναι μεν η μηχανή είναι εύχρηστη και λειτουργική με απλό πάτημα των κουμπιών, φτιάχνοντας πολύ καλό κι αρωματικό ζεστό καφέ εσπρέσσο, αλλά: ΔΕΝ μπορείς να φτιάξεις παγωμένο φρέντο, επειδή η πολύ υψηλή θερμοκρασία που ανεβάζει η μηχανή κατά τη διάρκεια της παρασκευής-εκχύλισης του καφέ που ρέει καυτός, λιώνει αμέσως τα όποια παγάκια έχουν μπει στο ποτήρι, με αποτέλεσμα ακόμη και πολύ κρύο νερό να συμπληρώσει κανείς μετά στο ποτήρι, στην καλύτερη των περιπτώσεων θα βγει πολύ αραιωμένος και σε χλιαρή θερμοκρασία ο φρέντο και σίγουρα όχι παγωμένος. Ακόμη κι απευθείας παγωμένο νερό να βάλετε μέσα στο δοχείο νερού τής μηχανής, αυτή θα το ζεστάνει αναγκαστικά κατά τη διάρκεια τής παρασκευής του καφέ. Και δεν υπάρχει κάποιο κουμπί ή διακόπτης που θα στείλει στο ποτήρι σου μόνον το παγωμένο νερό σε περίπτωση που έχετε βάλει τέτοιο στο δοχείο. Οπότε συμπερασματικά: Αν θέλετε μόνο ζεστό εσπρέσσο είναι ιδανική μηχανή, αλλά για παγωμένο φρέντο ξεχάστε το και προτιμήστε την κλασική φραπεδιέρα ή το μίξερ χειρός για να πετύχετε πραγματικά κρύο καφέ. Το αγόρασα για να μπορώ να φτιάχνω και φρέντο, αλλά δυστυχώς την πάτησα κι έμεινα με μια μηχανή μόνο για ζεστό καφέ.
Very nice machine, I bought it 8 months ago and put it in my Airbnb.

I get capsules from the well-known German supermarket which are affordable and I leave them as a treat.

Πολύ ωραία μηχανή, την πήρα πριν 8 μήνες κ την έβαλα στο airbnb μου.
Βέβαια έχω αφήσει μόνο τη μια κεφαλή γιατί αν αφήσεις πολλά-πολλα μπορεί να τα κλέψουν ή τα σπάσουν... Αν τυχόν χαλάσει η κεφαλή αυτή θα βάλω τη δεύτερη κτλ.
Παίρνω κάψουλες από το γνωστό γερμανικό σούπερ που είναι οικονομικές κ αφήνω σαν κέρασμα.
Είναι πολύ ωραία κ φτιάχνει ωραίο καφέ.
Μικρή σε μέγεθος, σε πολύ καλή τιμή στην κατηγορία της, συστήνεται!
Beautiful, quality construction that takes up minimal space. A strong point is that it works with every type of coffee. I tried it with ground coffee, pods, and Nespresso capsules and the result was very good. The normal is 50ml and the lungo 100ml. The quantity is somewhat large, but you can stop the flow with the on/off switch. The only "objection" is the design of the water tank. It doesn't fill from the top, but high up from the side. Beautiful design but ergonomically problematic. It doesn't fill easily and can't be cleaned well. It doesn't have a container for used capsules, but that's the "price" for a machine that works with every type of coffee.
Όμορφη, ποιοτική κατασκευή που πιάνει ελάχιστο χώρο. Δυνατό σημείο ότι λειτουργεί με κάθε είδους καφέ. Δοκίμασα με αλεσμένο, pods και κάψουλες nespresso και το αποτέλεσμα ήταν πολύ καλό. Ο νορμάλ είναι 50ml και ο λούγκο 100ml. Η ποσότητα είναι κάπως μεγάλη, αλλά μπορείτε να διακόψετε τη ροή με τον διακόπτη on/off. Η μόνη "ένσταση" είναι ο σχεδιασμός του δοχείου νερού. Δεν γεμίζει από πάνω, αλλά ψηλά από το πλάι. Όμορφο design αλλά εργονομικά προβληματικό. Δεν γεμίζει εύκολα και δεν μπορεί να καθαριστεί καλά. Δεν έχει δοχείο για τις χρησιμοποιημένες κάψουλες, αλλά αυτό είναι το "τίμημα" για μια μηχανή που λειτουργεί με κάθε είδους καφέ.
