I bought it a few months ago to have more USB A ports on my laptop. It is reliable and works on Linux (specifically on a computer with Linux Mint Cinnamon 22.2 Zara and later on the new version Linux Mint Cinnamon 22.3 Zena) and on Windows 11. Additionally, it has a USB type C female port at the back for extra power supply up to 15w for devices that may need a bit more power. It's useful for connecting a mobile phone to a laptop so it doesn't charge from the laptop's battery. Also, while I was copying files from a hard drive to another port on the computer, not on the USB hub, and had my phone on the USB hub, I tried connecting a power bank to the USB type C port while copying GBs of files, and the file transfer was not interrupted at all and continued normally. Of course, I'm not sure if it gets slower when there are many USB sticks of USB 3.0, 3.1, and 3.2, but with two that I tried, it did not disappoint me. The speed of the USB sticks and, of course, the USB port where the hub is connected also matter. I believe it is ideal for computers with few USB A ports, such as laptops, but also for desktops that may not have many USB A 3.0, 3.1, or 3.2 ports. Additionally, I tried it on an Android phone with an OTG adapter (USB type C male to USB A female) to connect the USB hub, and I connected a keyboard and wireless mouse to the Android phone. Also, an Android phone must support OTG function, which almost all modern Android phones support. The only thing that might seem a bit off or that I didn't like at first is how the USB sticks go in—they go in a bit tightly but lock in well, but after some time using it, it is not a problem at all and I have gotten used to it. As for build quality, it is plastic if I'm not mistaken and relatively light. I would say the build quality is okay. Personally, I would characterize it as very good, reliable, and it has a good price. I also took some photos for anyone interested to see how the USB hub looks beyond the product's own photos.
