The ÖKO Level-2 replacement filter is designed for 650 ml and 1,000 ml OKO Original Level 2 water bottles. It uses an activated carbon filter with 2 μm pores and positively charged electroadsorption, which attracts and retains harmful contaminants smaller than its pores.

Its technology was originally developed for NASA and used on the International Space Station (ISS). The filter has a lifespan of 378 litres.
