MacBook M4 owner, the performance difference compared to the M4 Pro is reasonable. Truly silent, the difference in memory bandwidth is noticeable compared to most portable builds/laptops available in this price range. Now that memory prices have reached where they are, you can barely even call it VFM at €1700.

Good, fast, does more things for its price than I expected, first time MacOS user, it took me a while to get the hang of it, but never editing on Windows again

In recent years, we used to pay €1000 (and that's an understatement) for computers with terrible Windows and performance that doesn't even come close to the performance of the M4 mini. With €600, you could build a computer for some kid just to play League of Legends or for dad to go on Chrome and read the news…

Well, now, this little device is the reason I believe there's no longer any incentive to have anything else at home… All serious work is now done on MacOS and Linux, even gaming to a large extent, and it's getting better and better. The era of crappy Windows is over.

I think that at this time (04/2026) this is the most value for money Mac someone can choose. It doesn't look like it due to its very small size (it's smaller than previous Mac minis), but it's very powerful. The 16GB RAM for macOS X Tahoe is more than enough. I use it for professional purposes and I am a programmer.

It replaced my 2018 MacBook Pro i9/16 gb ram and the comparison with the M4 is unbelievable, the machine just flies!!! Note that I do professional audio editing..!!!

Simply incredible.. so small but excellent for everyday use, browsing, and office functions. It can easily replace a desktop PC as long as one gets used to the differences in the operating system.. most basic programs are available. There are also reliable solutions for increasing storage space.. (theoretically it supports light gaming but that's not its intended use)

First time using a Mac computer and I can say it is the best technology product I have ever bought... its price is a bargain for what it offers. Honestly, I don't think any version beyond the basic one is worth it. I have connected an external SSD and there is no issue at all. It is extremely fast in everything, personally I have run several design programs (autocad, rhino 3d) and it works perfectly! If you also have other Apple devices, the connectivity and conveniences offered by the software are very useful

I got the cheapest model, hoping it would do something better than the MBP 16 with the i7 of 3k that was incredibly sluggish... I didn't expect that a computer of this size could perform so well, its performance is incredible. Photoshop, Premier, Final Cut running simultaneously never slowed it down.

It offers a very smooth macOS user experience for office environments and applications, without lags and delays but also without the speeds of a gaming PC, of course. It is recommended to purchase the 512 GB memory model or a very good case for an external drive, as the USB A ports to which an external hard drive may be connected limit the reading speed. Personally, I have installed a base with a case for NVMe SSD and a 500GB NVMe M.2 from WD, but the delay in reading compared to the internal memory is noticeable.

One of the best purchases I could have made. It easily handles Photoshop, Affinity 3, and DaVinci Resolve, can even run small LLMs locally, and in general, it flies through everything. As for coding, I don't even need to mention it, it's simply paradise.

It lags and it's not as fast as advertised. On the plus side, as always, design, portability, connectivity. The button underneath is not a problem.

I come from a MacBook Air m1 8gb ram and I have to say there are many differences in performance and the fact that it has 16 ram makes a huge difference in my work (sound engineering, photography, office etc). For its price, it is really worth it and for an Apple product it is very cheap, it's almost like they're giving it as a gift—congratulations to those who made it, I highly recommend it.

It is an excellent machine for the job I want it for, it opens image editing applications quite quickly, and it also exports the photos I have edited impressively fast! As for video editing, you need to be a bit careful not to overdo it, because if you get carried away and use too many correction tools, it starts to struggle. Overall, I am impressed by the performance and speed of this particular computer.

The best thing, I got it for video editing and cc cg, I work in DaVinci, 4k multiple cameras, absolutely no issues, the best thing I have ever bought in general. I abandoned my 1000+€ gaming PC and now I run 4k things that I couldn't even run with proxy at 720p. ALSO, it has a speaker and actually quite good and quality sound, I didn't know that and I didn't see anyone mention it. I was thinking of getting one but now it's unnecessary.

It is a very powerful machine for any image or video processing. Silent and reliable.

What can one say about this little beast, it is a very good choice for someone to enter the world of Apple.

My boyfriend is a computer science student and he is amazed at how efficient it is, completely silent, runs everything super fast, the price is top, you can't find anything comparable on the market, fully compact, takes up no space at all. Just be careful because it doesn't have USB ports, you definitely need a USB C HUB with USB ports like the one I show in the video so you can connect a mouse, keyboard, etc. Totally VFM

The best for desk apple with crazy performance and perfect interface. Some apps are not responsive but this is solved with the web catalog where you can download apps, group apps e.g. social, in one app for the dock station plus extra iCloud space.

I am not a fan of this company, but this is extremely fair for professionals. For simple use, I don't know if it's worth it.

Excellent computer! It has excellent performance no matter how many things you do at the same time and it doesn't heat up! Just what you need for office work!

The device is amazing as everyone says BUT BE CAREFUL! Don't combine it with a 2k resolution screen. Macs work properly at 220 ppi screens (or 110 ppi, but not at intermediate resolutions). If you do, you will have scaling issues (this can be solved with applications like SwitchResX or Better Display, but it only resolves 90%, a slight blurriness remains).
