Comes with a remote control. Sleep mode and timer function, which personally I don't need. It is lightweight, which is a positive if you want to move it from room to room. It doesn't have a round base, but it is stable. The only negative is that the head is manually fixed and not controlled by the remote, which is why I gave it 4 stars. I recommend it.

Unfortunately, it makes noise, as if I have a helicopter in the room. Impossible for someone to sleep. Also, I didn't notice that in this particular model, the direction you want it to blow or rotate continuously is not adjustable from the remote control. You have to do it manually, with the lever on it. If I had noticed, I wouldn't have bought it... Finally, the instructions on mine were for a different model and I had to figure out on my own how to screw the base. Overall, if someone wants it for a larger room, like a living room or dining room, it is fine and powerful. For a bedroom, however, I will probably need to get another one...
