Resolution Selection

The V850 Pro features a dual-lens system that automatically selects the optimal lens, with an optical resolution of up to 4,800 dpi for photo scanning and 6,400 dpi for scanning using the film holders.

Scanning from Any Source

Scan a wide range of film formats in sharp focus thanks to the improved quality of the film holders with adjustable height and sturdy construction. The V850 Pro also supports non-standard film formats up to 8 x 10 inches by placing them directly on the scanner's glass surface.

High Productivity

Epson's ReadyScan technology with LED light source ensures a warm-up time of less than one second, so scanning can start almost immediately. Thanks to the two sets of film holders, you can prepare the second set of originals for scanning while the first set is still being scanned.

Image Cleaning

Digital ICE technologies automatically remove imperfections such as dust, hair, scratches, and fingerprints from films and photos, so photos are restored with minimal effort.

Correct Tonality

Benefit from excellent tone reproduction thanks to the optical density of 4.0 DMax. The V850 Pro can detect the exact tonal range of the original, ensuring that the brightest and darkest areas of the images are reproduced accurately, revealing impressive detail and dynamic range.

Professional Software

In addition to Epson Scan, the V850 Pro comes with SilverFast SE Plus 8 and i1 Scanner software, offering advanced, professional scanning features.
