I remove one star purely for the size of the kibble! For my small dog, it is too big. It is about the size of a 0.50€ coin, so I have to break it up so she can eat it. Ideally, they should make a version for small dogs because this one is clearly for large breeds. It is a Grain Free food, which is not easy to find in renal diets, and for me, this is very important. She eats it happily, although I soak it in broth made from boiled turkey fillet, add extra lukewarm water, and also add a tablespoon of renal canned food, which makes it even tastier and she eats it with appetite! (I asked the vet first). Due to her age, she can't eat it unless it's soaked, so I wanted something to make it tastier and to provide her with the fluids she needs for hydration. In a few days, we have a follow-up to check if her kidney values have dropped; I hope this food has helped, combined of course with the RenalVet she takes. Also, the packaging opens and closes easily.
Update: We did the follow-up and her values remained stable, they did not drop. Also, she ate it for the first 10 days and then didn't want it at all, so I switched to another brand. It's not a bad food, it just didn't suit us.

I have been using it for quite some time. It is a good food. It has a scratch opening which is very functional… My little dog had low hematocrit due to her kidney failure and she would get dizzy easily. Now with this food, thanks to the peas, it has helped her a lot and she no longer has that dizziness. She eats it gladly even though it is the size of a 5 cent euro coin. She is a small breed and quite old but has no problem chewing this food.
