The De Buyer Choc frying pan has an aluminium body 3 to 4 mm thick, depending on the size, and a multilayer PTFE non-stick coating. Its Lyonnaise shape makes it easy to transfer food to a plate, while the curved French-style handle helps with handling. It is suitable for reheating, warming and cooking, and for use on gas, ceramic and electric hobs.

The steel handle has an epoxy coating and is secured with rivets. The pan can be used in the oven for up to 10 minutes at 200 °C.
