The FT-3165RASP is a compact mobile 2-meter transceiver with solid basic features such as modulation and mechanical durability. The output power is 65W (selectable 65W / 30W / 5W) and the effective cooling system with the FACC: Funnel Air-Convection Conductor (Wind Tunnel) ensures stable and reliable power.

The new front speaker delivers powerful 5W sound and has been tuned for improved audio quality. With the optional external speaker MLS-100, the FT-3165RASP transceiver supports uninterrupted communication even in noisy environments.

The Super-DX mode increases the sensitivity of the receiver and enhances the reception of weak signals. The new ASP: Audio Digital Signal Processing Unit is also activated when the Super-DX button is pressed. Super-DX with ASP ensures comfortable audio quality for weak signals and extends the communication range.
