In particular, the transition from the old to the new Criminal Code and the successive modifications raise serious issues of timeless law, making it necessary to compare the relevant provisions throughout their historical progression. In this work, each article is presented with its latest valid form (up to Law 5172/2025), while also chronologically referencing both the previous forms and the latest version of the corresponding article from the prior Criminal Code of 1950 and Code of Criminal Procedure of 1950, with the hope that it will serve as a useful tool for every legal professional.
