Specifically, the transition from the old to the new Code of Criminal Procedure and its successive amendments raise serious issues of timeless law that necessitate the comparison of relevant provisions throughout their historical trajectory. In this work, each article is presented with its latest valid form (up to Law 5172/2025) while also listing both the previous forms and the latest form of the corresponding article from the former Criminal Code/1950 and Criminal Procedure Code/1950 in chronological order, with the hope of being a useful tool for every legal professional.
