Description

Description

With speeds of up to 1700 MB/s (read) and 1200 MB/s (write), it is ready to support future developments in advanced technology cameras and camcorders. The memory card is designed for professional photographers, videographers, and enthusiasts who want to enhance their workflows with unmatched speed and exceptional reliability.

High-Speed Architecture

The card utilizes the CFexpress Type B standard to achieve read speeds of up to 1700MB/s and write speeds of up to 1400MB/s. This performance is based on high-throughput protocols that minimize latency during data transfer from the camera buffer to the storage medium. The increased read speed drastically optimizes the post-production process, allowing for the rapid transfer of large RAW files to workstations. The writing technology ensures stability during high-frequency burst mode shooting, eliminating delays observed in older technology cards.

Sustainable Performance in RAW 4K

The card's data management system is specially configured to support RAW 4K video recording with sustainable performance. Unlike standard cards that experience speed drops after prolonged use, this unit maintains a stable sustained write speed, preventing frame drops. This is critical for professional shoots where the integrity of uncompressed material is non-negotiable. The card's thermal management allows continuous operation at high bitrates without affecting the reliability of the recorded data.

Compatibility with XQD Protocol

The card offers backward compatibility with selected cameras and camcorders that feature an XQD slot. By upgrading the firmware of the device to support CFexpress technology, a bridge is created between different generations of hardware. The physical configuration of the card allows for direct use in the corresponding ports, giving users the ability to upgrade storage speeds without the need to replace their main equipment. This compatibility depends on the specifications provided by the manufacturer of each device.

Data Integrity and Software

To ensure the security of your digital files, the card comes with a license for the RescuePRO Deluxe data recovery software. This software uses advanced algorithms to scan memory blocks and recover files that have been accidentally deleted or damaged. Additionally, the memory is backed by a limited lifetime warranty, certifying the durability of the NAND circuits through long-term program/erase (P/E) cycles. SanDisk's reliability in the category of professional storage media guarantees operational stability in demanding environments.

Guys, this specific card is not suitable for Nikon Z cameras. I read other comments about certain Nikon models as well. Nikon z8 user. I just had it inside the camera without using it, usage was from the SD card I had inside. The camera overheated and drained one battery after another. Be careful! Without even using it!! I just had it plugged into the camera. As soon as I removed it, the camera's temperature immediately dropped!

I never understood why they have such a high price.
A necessary evil, but it consistently does its job and reliably!

I am facing overheating issues with my Nikon Z6ii camera, resulting in having to remove the card to cool it down during the mystery hour. Fortunately, I ALWAYS write to 2 cards! Since 2012, when I started with photography, I have trusted Sandisk with my eyes closed, but with this particular one, I was truly disappointed.

    NIKON USERS read:
1 star because the card overheats when shooting 4K video after 10 minutes and when using H+ shooting mode. Used on Nikon Z6II. I think the issue appears with this particular camera brand.
The build quality is excellent and it is very fast!
    Update:
After contacting the store where I bought it, these specific cards have a problem (hot card) with this brand. Neither of the two companies admits there is a problem, so Nikon users keep this in mind. I replaced it with a Prograde. I will update once I use it.
    UPDATE (9-7-24):
After using the Prograde for photo and video in about 10 events, the problem did not appear. The card works excellently.

Except for the high price in Greece, this particular card is one of the top solutions for fast storage flow. It is excellent in all areas, whether in video (4K) or in photography and large data flow volume (RAW).

Excellent quality, I have been trusting only SanDisk for several years now. I will definitely purchase more 128Gb and above cards for work requirements.
