Watercolor Masking Liquid Based on Latex 30ml Renesans
What is masking liquid?
This medium is a thick latex substance used to protect parts of created works from the effects of paint or water. It is used with watercolor paints, ink, gouache, tempera, and poster paint. Once dry, it prevents paint from covering the painted surface. It is used when we want a specific element to remain unpainted. The latex protects that part of the artwork from paint reaching it. Extremely effective, it prevents paint from penetrating. Easy to remove from paper or canvas.
How to use it:
The masking liquid can be successfully used on paper, cardboard, wood, canvas, and many other surfaces. It should be applied with a brush or pen to the areas of the surface that need protection and to remain unpainted. After the Drawing Gum medium has dried, you can start painting. When the applied paint is completely dry, simply wipe off the areas with the masking liquid using your finger or an eraser to reveal the painted area.
