The Matex mattress protector is waterproof and has a terry-cloth top made of 82% cotton and 18% polyester, with a 100% polyurethane backing. It can be used as both a sheet and a protector. The top allows air to pass through and feels pleasant to the touch. The backing protects against external contaminants, prevents dust from penetrating, and acts as a barrier against dust mites and allergens.
The skirt, with elastic in a tunnel casing, fits around the mattress and keeps it in place. It can be washed at up to 40 °C, preferably in a laundry bag.
