PC owner having switched from Switch OLED for a short period.
The console is excellent, the battery life averages 4.5 hours which is more than enough since you can play handheld, docked, and have the console charging while you play.
Much more powerful console compared to the first generation. The console's resolution at 1080p and 4K is more than decent.
The library is literally endless. I play handheld 90% of the time but it has given me some great moments playing docked games like Switch Sports with friends at home.
The purchase was made at €420 with an invoice and it was worth every euro, especially if we consider the resale value and that each generation definitely lasts 7 years

    The perfect console design.

As for Mario Kart, I don't have much to say. Crash Team Racing seems better to me. A bundle with Bananza would probably be worth more in my opinion.

I have had the Nintendo Switch 2 (Mario Kart Edition) for three weeks now and I am blown away! It is much better than the first Switch, both in how it runs games and how it is built. Also, the new dock is very well-designed and doesn’t scratch the screen like the old one.
The Mario Kart bundle is totally worth it. The game is amazing, has perfect graphics, and is a "must" for every home. It’s much more cost-effective to get it with the console because it comes out cheaper. Additionally, the battery lasts longer and the controllers (Joy-Cons) seem much sturdier and higher quality. The console and its games may be a bit expensive, but you get what you pay for. Also, the subscription to play online costs only €20 a year and gives you a bunch of old, classic Nintendo games as a bonus. For playing with friends or family in the living room, there’s nothing better. I recommend it without a second thought!

The new Nintendo console is very good in many areas (improved graphics, very good screen, etc.). What I didn't like is that the software is very expensive and the loading time, which I consider slow compared to other consoles. Finally, I wouldn't want to compare it to the Xbox or PlayStation because, although they don't have the same capabilities, first, it's the only hybrid console and, second, with the Switch, which was the weakest console, it was also the longest-lasting

Fantastic console! I was reading reviews that talked about the battery and the screen but I have no complaints at all. Especially the screen, it's as if it's OLED and the battery is perfectly decent! I am very satisfied, the only complaint I have is the expensive games it has, but again they are so well made that in the end you say the money was worth it!

Cyberpunk on the go - Diablo 3 from the couch.

Its battery doesn't last long as a handheld, but otherwise, due to the large number of games it has and that play without the need for customization (Asus rog ally etc), it's worth it.

One star deducted due to the price.

I can say that having had the Switch 1 for about 8 years, the build quality of the 2 is very similar. The only negative I find is in the price quality. I believe that €500 is a bit much. In general, though, I have enjoyed it very much and I recommend it. Just be prepared for Nintendo's extremely expensive games.

While I am not a fan of the direction Nintendo is heading with its pricing on its games I’ll admit at least that switch 2 ended up better that i expected. Feels like a massive upgrade of the first switch from the controllers to the practice of the gimmick and of course the graphics and the performance of most of the switch 1 games. I can now finally play Splatoon 3 and Pokemon violet without my console lagging. I think the only thing that takes this for me to give it a five star is just how the game that’s included with (MKW) disappointed me a bit. It’s not the worst game I played but having played MK8D I expected better. That and be warned because of the improved graphics its battery life isn’t the strongest. Overall good console great bundle but won’t recommend to buy it immediately now that it just launched. Buy it once Nintendo offers more game options for it because trust me when I say you won’t rly enjoy MKW at its current state.

Having the console for 2 weeks, and buying it for 2 nine-year-old twin boys, it brought back memories... from my childhood with the Game Boy, Sega Master System, etc... I only see positives... and I feel like I'm playing something very high quality with nice graphics... Mario Kart and DK Bananza are enough to fill many hours of gaming with your kids. Now, prices are expensive... but after all, what is left cheap in this life... instead of burning fuel and wandering around random shops... at least unleash yourself in endless gaming!

Truly amazing console! Playing titles like Legend of Zelda, the upgraded hardware made it feel like I was experiencing an entirely new game. Cyberpunk also runs great and I didn't expect that at all! The battery life is similar to the V1 Switch, but in practice it lasts much longer than my Steam Deck. I admit I was hesitant to buy it at first, mainly because of the intense negativity circulating online. However, I quickly realized that most of those who "bash" it haven't even tried it and are just repeating the same opinions from click-chasing articles. Come on guys, I'm a Sony user too but I'm not that fanatic. For me, the experience was excellent and the purchase absolutely justified. If anything is true though, it's that prices in Greece are much higher. Prefer to buy it from stores abroad.

Clearly, this console is not worth this money, the differences are insignificant compared to the previous one, only if you are a hardcore nerd and you want to throw money away, get it! Small differences in colors and slightly improved resolution! You can't say it's a huge wow change! It's not at all like the transition from the PS3 to the 4 and then to the 5, etc., where you could see the evolution of the console each time! Here, you're just struggling to find differences from the previous one

Coming from a Switch Lite, the console simply flies. Unfortunately, there aren't enough new game titles designed for the Nintendo Switch 2, but this will change over time. I recommend it for fans of Nintendo and its games, such as the Zelda series, Mario, and others. Some of these have been upgraded to take advantage of the new console's capabilities, elevating the experience. Note that to connect it to the TV, you must use the provided dock and charger. For HDMI, prefer the supplied cable, although it can also work with similar cables you may already have.

Very good console with impressive performance for its size, etc. The build quality is very good and in my opinion it is much more elegant than the Steam Deck, which I considered huge and bulky. The screen could have been OLED but if we overlook its "blacks", its quality is excellent! The battery lasts about 2.5 hours in new demanding games and much longer in simpler ones.

The screen, although LCD and not OLED, is beautiful. Of course, it has mainly been tested on Nintendo games, which are "colorful" anyway. We'll see how it performs in darker games when Duskblood comes out.
As for dock mode, it gives me a bit of a PS4 Pro vibe

3 stars because of the battery and because it doesn't have an OLED screen
quite a powerful console, Mario Kart is beautiful as is Donkey Kong Bananza, quite promising
    generally needs more titles
whoever has their eye on it should buy it because even if you wait 2 years the price won't drop
generally it's a supplementary console for someone who already has a Series or PS5
P.S. people laugh at the prices of the games

My opinion as a day one user: Apart from the prices, which anyone can complain about and it's completely reasonable, the console is amazing. It really is a Switch with everything upgraded! Mario Kart is awesome and seems to have a lot of longevity. If you can afford it and appreciate Nintendo games, it's truly the only way to go. I'm saying all this as a PC owner and I have the Switch just for the exclusives. I hope I helped

I don't like that they changed it and now require micro SD express because 70€ for a card is a bit much, and as for the price of the console itself, I don't know why there is such a big difference here compared to other countries...
Other than that, it's good, but definitely not worth the money
