Owner of the entire HD5 HD6 series, and I will say that these are my favorites from the 5 series.
The only complaint I had about the 560s they fixed here; now they are no longer so detailed up top, they are smoother and give space to the mids.
They are like a Sundara HD600 hybrid, fast and with bass that goes deep like the Sundara, and with a normal, thankfully, soundstage, without sounding metallic; they have the organic, natural sound of the HD600. Where they fall short is a little in the vocals.
The headband and pads are the best in the series and the plastics don’t creak; okay, quality-wise they are inferior to the HD6, HD490, etc., but it’s not the end of the world. They also have angled drivers, so the back of the ear fits comfortably. Ergonomically, I think they are amazing.
Oh, they also fixed the clamping force of the headband; now they are not so tight.
I tried them with both music and games and they are excellent in both cases; they are the absolute balance. They may not have the warm organic character of the HD660s2 nor the imaging, but those who love something more flat will adore them. The soundstage in games is ideal; it is not excessively large so it doesn’t open up the imaging and central direction, so it is easier to hear someone’s position.
In my opinion, Sennheiser now has no rival and has everything for all tastes: HD550, HD600, HD660s2, and finally the 800s (which I unfortunately don’t have).
If you can find the 560s for 120 euros, get the 560s and with a foam mod in front the highs become smooth if they bother you. Otherwise, for a 50 euro difference, the 550 is a worthy successor.
Κατοχος όλης της σειράς HD5 HD6 , και θα πω οτι τα συγκεκριμένα ειναι τα αγαπημένα μου απο την σειρά 5 .
Το μονο παράπονο που ειχα απο τα 560s το έφτιαξαν εδω πλεον δεν ειναι τοσο αναλυτικά εκει ψηλά ειναι ποιο σμουθ και δίνουν χώρο στα mids .
Ειναι σαν ενα υβρίδιο Sundara HD600 , γρήγορα και με μπάσο που παει βαθειά σαν τα Sundara και με φυσιολογικό ευτυχώς soundstage χωρίς ομως να ακούγονται μεταλλικά , εχουν την οργανικό φυσικό ήχο των HD600 αν χανουν καπου ειναι λιγο στα φωνητικά.
Η στέκα και τα μαξιλαράκια τα καλυτερα της σειράς και δεν κανουν θόρυβο τα πλαστικά, οκ ποιοτικα ειναι κατωτερα απο HD6 HD490 κτλ αλλα δεν θα χάθηκε ο κόσμος, ειναι επισης angled driver οποτε το πισω μέρος του αυτιού χωραει ανετα πιστευω εργονομικά ειναι φοβερά.
Α έφτιαξαν και το σφίξιμο της στέκας πλεον δεν ειναι τοσπ σφιχτά.
Τα δοκίμασα και σε μουσική και σε παιχνίδια και ειναι εξαιρετικά και στις δυο περιπτώσεις ειναι η απόλυτη ισορροπία. Μπορεί να μην εχουν το ζεστό οργανικό χαρακτήρα των HD660s2 ουτε το imaging αλλα όσοι αγαπούν κατι ποιο flat θα τα λατρέψουν. Το Soundstage στα παιχνιδια ειναι ιδανικό δεν ειναι υπερβολικά μεγάλο ώστε να ανοίγει το imaging και central direction οποτε ειναι ποιο ευκολο να ακούσεις την θεση κάποιου.
Κατα την γνωμη μου η Sennheiser πλεον δεν εχει αντίπαλο και εχει τα παντα για ολα τα γούστα, HD550 ,HD600, HD660s2 και τέλος τα 800s ( που δεν εχω δυστυχώς ).
Αν μπορείτε να βρείτε τα 560s στα 120 ευρο να πάρετε τα 560s και με ενα foam mod μπροστα τα highs γίνονται smooth αν βέβαια σας ενοχλούν. Διαφορετικά για 50 ευρο διαφορά τα 550 ειναι άξιος διάδοχος.
