The Proteas dual under-sink water filter system filters water in two stages and comes with a separate faucet for dispensing filtered water. The first stage uses a 5 μm polypropylene filter to remove sediment, soil, mud, rust and suspended solids. In the second stage, the 0.5 μm MD05 activated carbon filter reduces chlorine and volatile organic compounds, while improving the water’s taste and odour.

The dual filter housing features double O-rings for a secure seal. The package includes a mounting bracket, a maintenance wrench and a connector set for the faucet. The filters should be replaced every 3 to 6 months, depending on water quality.
