The very small particle forms of silver enhance the effectiveness of the product, and due to their high and long-lasting activity, the effect does not weaken over time. Nanosilver is non-cytotoxic and non-genotoxic and does not cause irritation or allergic reactions. The presence of Bitrex in the formulation makes the product very bitter, preventing licking of the product from the wound. The POLISEPT® VET Wound Gel SILVER PRO 30ml ensures the optimal moisture balance within the wound. The hydrocolloid gel cleans wounds from biological contaminants that occur during the healing process (metabolic waste, toxins, etc.) and prevents the formation of bacterial biofilm. The product protects wounds from external infections while ensuring optimal gas exchange.
