A specialty moss from Brazil, measuring 1-3 cm in height, called "Christmas moss" because of the structure of its lateral branches that distinguish it from the common Vesicularia dubyana and resemble pine branches. It is more demanding than regular Java moss and grows more slowly.

• It easily attaches to roots and rocks.
• Requires trimming to maintain an attractive shape.
