Borma Color 6952 Heat Resistant Enamel is suitable for metal or concrete surfaces exposed to high temperatures. It is based on special silicone resins and withstands intermittent heat up to 800 °C. It can be applied with a roller, brush or spray gun and is ready to use; thinning is required only for spray-gun application.
It is used on hot gas pipes, chimneys, fireplaces, stoves, barbecues, grills and exhausts. Before application, clean the surface to remove grease, silicone, old paint, dirt and rust, then sand it and remove any dust. A second coat can be applied without sanding within 24 hours of the first. Before use, heat the surface gradually to 250 °C for at least 1 hour to facilitate curing and achieve maximum heat resistance.
