A comprehensive filter for neutral density and polarization, the PolarPro Peter McKinnon Chroma VND/PL Filter for Helix Maglock 6/9 fits the Helix Maglock filter system and utilizes the newly designed Chroma Glass to create a filter with independently controlled elements for neutral density and polarization in a dual-variable design. The new glass also enhances the color accuracy of the filter.
The neutral density filter allows users to reduce exposure values to achieve various effects, while the polarizers reduce glare and reflections to give an image a crisp, clear appearance. PolarPro has also improved the tactile experience when using the filter by incorporating bearings in each stop to secure the VND setting in place. The filter features 16 layers of coating to resist scratches, reflections, and fingerprints.
The Helix Maglock filter system provides an absolutely secure connection using a magnetic connection plus a quarter-turn locking mechanism, making the installation and removal of filters instantaneous. This advanced locking system ensures that filters remain locked in place, even during the most demanding shooting conditions.
