Reactive Glaze is a broad term referring to an innovative glazing technology for porcelain items, which results in unique finishes during firing in the kiln. This means that either due to oxidation or a chemical reaction during firing, the final outcome for each item cannot be predicted, making it distinct and unique. Any minor imperfections that may be observed are not manufacturing defects but are the unique characteristics of each item that contribute to its individuality. Therefore, there are no two pieces of reactive glaze dinnerware that are exactly identical, which is why they will always stand out from mass-produced items.
