    The camera is excellent day and night, however... because it belongs to a group of products that was made for testing and succeeded, as a test product it does not have publicly available firmware and does not have a built-in external reset button... as a result, you cannot re-install firmware if it freezes and you also cannot reset it... rumors say it has an internal button, but who would open a brand new camera? -UPDATE 7/2/26.: I insist that the camera is excellent, but it has a huge issue with the firmware. In default settings it can work day and night, but if you want to change something, like having it work differently during the day and night, then very often recording stops, while it sends a signal to the recorder as an event... and no, it's not an issue with the recorder (dahua NVR4108HS-EI) which has 7 other cameras connected to it... the way I found to overcome the problem is to reinstall the software I found here: (https://materialfile.dahuasecurity.com/uploads/cpq/SWR/3452802/M/DH_IPC-HX1XXX-Kant_EngSpnRus_PN_V2.860.0000000.38.R.251030.zip) and make minimal and one-by-one adjustments to see which one causes the issue... pay attention to EXPOSURE - GAMMA - ILLUMINATOR... while I appreciate it, I would not buy it again.
