The Omnipure Q5515 water filter system connects to the cold water supply under the counter and dispenses filtered water from its own faucet. The Q5515 replacement filter contains coconut shell activated carbon with a 1-micron filtration rating and Quick Change technology for fast, tool-free replacement. It reduces chlorine, heavy metals, cysts and organic compounds.

The system is made of plastic and operates at temperatures from 2 °C to 38 °C. The replacement filter lasts up to 2,500 gallons for chlorine and up to 1,250 gallons for heavy metals, with a flow rate of 0.50 gpm. Replacement is recommended according to the filtration capacity or every 12 months.
