Description

Description

Forklifts, winches, cranes, or forestry machinery can be perfectly controlled, and any task can be completed with ease thanks to the three 16-bit directional axes, two of which are equipped with HEART (HallEffect AccuRate Technology) magnetic sensors. With six buttons, two switches, two triggers, a mini stick, and a rotary wheel, the joystick is a multifunctional device that allows you to control all types of machinery easily and conveniently.

The top trigger allows you to switch between "Driving" and "Working" modes, enabling you to perform six additional actions with your thumb. The base of the joystick features a manual throttle and 18 buttons that can be assigned to specific actions in each game or type of vehicle. On a computer, the "Combo" key doubles the number of actions that can be assigned to each key in Farming Simulator 25. With 33 buttons and various control functions, the SimTask FarmStick X is both a joystick and a comprehensive control unit.

Its ergonomic, ambidextrous design allows easy access to key functions and comfortable handling—even during long sessions. The SimTask FarmStick X is directly inspired by the interiors of modern tractors and high-tech agricultural equipment, with realistic dimensions. It is compatible with Xbox Series X|S and PC (Windows 11/10) and plug & play in Farming Simulator 25 (game not included). The controls are automatically mapped to each vehicle.

All buttons can be programmed to suit the needs of each game (list of compatible games available on the Thrustmaster support website). The SimTask FarmStick X can be used in combination with a T128 or T248 racing wheel and a SimTask steering kit (all sold separately) to achieve complete steering control and simulate the driver's cabin of agricultural or construction machinery.

This particular controller is really good. It truly takes your gaming experience to another level, especially when operating machinery with arms, as you get the feeling that you're controlling them in real life. Also, the many buttons and the presence of the mini throttle and mini stick help players avoid fumbling around with the keyboard and mouse. They really make things much easier.

I have nothing negative to say about the controller itself. However, I can't help mentioning the unpleasant experience of receiving a defective one. Specifically, the problem was with the mini stick, which, although it appeared to work normally, caused unintended movements in the game that were out of my control. There were absolutely no problems with the other parts of the controller.

Since I couldn't get anywhere with the updates and calibrations recommended by the Thrustmaster website, I contacted Skroutz, which responded immediately and arranged a replacement. Many thanks to the Skroutz team for that.

Of course, I wouldn't want to deduct a star from my rating because of this experience, as that would be unfair to the product. I just happened to receive a defective unit. This could happen to anyone. I'm mentioning it only for your information.

So far, everything is fine with the new controller. If I notice anything, I'll update this review.

Finally, I would recommend securing it to a desk mount so that it stays stable while you use it.
