Excellent switch for the money. Some features are missing, such as STP, but for its price it is the best cloud-controlled managed switch.

It worked immediately on a 1gbps network. The advantage of a managed switch over an unmanaged one is that it gets an IP from the LAN router (either you can assign it a static IP from the router based on its MAC, or set a static IP in its own settings). This way, you can "see" it from a browser using its IP, check which ports are active, at what speed they are operating, etc. Of course, you can set many other things related to routing, and if you have many of them, you can add them to TP-Link's free Omada program to see your entire LAN at a glance.

It has driven me crazy! In my network I have in order:
    ISP Modem
    TP-LINK ER605
    TP-LINK TL-SG2218P
    TL-SG108E
    ES208G. (The problem)
Everything works perfectly, tagged/un-tagged ports etc., but this ES208G DOES NOT work. Although it gives internet to the devices, with correct vlan IP, it gets stuck and makes itself (its UI) undiscoverable. That is, you can't see it (you WON'T be able to log in to its interface) even though netscan sees it. Why? WHO KNOWS!

Update: Attention, attention to those new to vlans like me. The Agile series, for reasons I can't understand, CANNOT manage tags properly. Stay away from Agile Series (models starting with ES) because you'll have a hard time!
