I mainly use it for gaming on my laptop but also for file storage. It doesn't lag at all and responds quickly to tasks. The only problem that occurred in the first few days was that it didn't let me turn off the device to remove it from the computer, but it was easily solved with a USB driver update.

Το μόνο πρόβλημα που είχε εμφανιστεί τις πρώτες μέρες είναι ότι δεν με άφηνε να απενεργοποιήσω την συσκευή για να την βγάλω απο τον υπολογιστή αλλα λύθηκε εύκολα με ενα update των drivers της θήρας usb.
It was purchased at a price of 60e for storage expansion on PS4 slim (1T HDD). I cannot rate its durability over time, as I have had it for about 1 month. Its warranty is, of course, 3 years, just like the other two well-known companies that release external ones with the "gaming" indication. After searching, I couldn't find details that justify the price difference with the corresponding "regular" versions. The company claims to have special firmware that allows it to be constantly "ON" without any problems, whatever that means (temperatures, wear, etc.).
With the 4T version being priced at 80e, 20 more for double the capacity, I think it would be the better choice. Also, without knowing why, Toshiba assigns different weight to the larger version (+ some grams) compared to the one and two Tera versions.
My experience so far has been positive, as it runs games smoothly, silently, and without me noticing (by hand) any temperature changes, even though I have the habit of leaving the console on and in stand-by (where the hard drive is powered) for many hours and continuously. Also, with the naked eye (without sitting down to measure), I have the impression that it loads games slightly faster than the console's internal hard drive.
Finally, its construction is good (properly refined plastic) but it also feels slippery and doesn't seem particularly resistant to potential falls (knock on wood!!). It is small in size but also has a short cable. The power indicator light (relatively large) is located in the left corner next to the cable port and is blue in color. It remains steady when the console is simply turned on and flashes brightly when the hard drive starts operating. It would be best not to place it in your direct line of sight, as it may be bothersome.

Επίσης, με το μάτι (χωρίς να κάτσω να μετρήσω) μου έχει δημιουργηθεί η εντύπωση πως φορτώνει τα παιχνίδια ελαφρώς πιο γρήγορα από ότι ο εσωτερικός σκληρός της κονσόλας.
Τέλος ,η κατασκευή του είναι καλή (ραφιναρισμένο σωστά πλαστικό) ,που "γλιστράει" όμως και δεν φαίνεται να είναι ιδιαίτερα ανθεκτική σε ενδεχόμενη πτώση (χτύπα ξύλο!!). Μικρός σε μέγεθος ,όμως και με μικρό καλώδιο. Η ενδεικτική λυχνία λειτουργίας του (σχετικά μεγάλη) βρίσκεται στην αριστερή γωνία δίπλα από την υποδοχή του καλωδίου και είναι χρώματος Μπλε. Σταθερή όταν η κονσόλα είναι απλά αναμμένη και αναβοσβήνει έντονα όταν αρχίζει να λειτουργεί ο σκληρός .Καλό θα ήταν να μην τοποθετηθεί στο άμεσο οπτικό σας πεδίο, διότι ενδεχομένως να ενοχλήσει.

Απο χωρητικότητα εξίσου αρκετά καλό, γνωστή παρεπιπτόντως η Toshiba για αξιοπιστία όσα χρόνια χρησιμοποιώ αυτό και άλλα προϊόντα. Ειδικά για τα 4TB άξιζε σίγουρα η τιμή του!
I mainly use it for gaming on my laptop but also for file storage. It doesn't lag at all and responds quickly to tasks. The only problem that occurred in the first few days was that it didn't let me turn off the device to remove it from the computer, but it was easily solved with a USB driver update.
Τον χρησιμοποιώ κυρίως για gaming στο λαπτοπ μου αλλά και για αποθήκευση αρχείων. Δεν κολλάει καθόλου και ανταποκρίνεται γρήγορα στα tasks. Το μόνο πρόβλημα που είχε εμφανιστεί τις πρώτες μέρες είναι ότι δεν με άφηνε να απενεργοποιήσω την συσκευή για να την βγάλω απο τον υπολογιστή αλλα λύθηκε εύκολα με ενα update των drivers της θήρας usb.
It was purchased at a price of 60e for storage expansion on PS4 slim (1T HDD). I cannot rate its durability over time, as I have had it for about 1 month. Its warranty is, of course, 3 years, just like the other two well-known companies that release external ones with the "gaming" indication. After searching, I couldn't find details that justify the price difference with the corresponding "regular" versions. The company claims to have special firmware that allows it to be constantly "ON" without any problems, whatever that means (temperatures, wear, etc.).
With the 4T version being priced at 80e, 20 more for double the capacity, I think it would be the better choice. Also, without knowing why, Toshiba assigns different weight to the larger version (+ some grams) compared to the one and two Tera versions.
My experience so far has been positive, as it runs games smoothly, silently, and without me noticing (by hand) any temperature changes, even though I have the habit of leaving the console on and in stand-by (where the hard drive is powered) for many hours and continuously. Also, with the naked eye (without sitting down to measure), I have the impression that it loads games slightly faster than the console's internal hard drive.
Finally, its construction is good (properly refined plastic) but it also feels slippery and doesn't seem particularly resistant to potential falls (knock on wood!!). It is small in size but also has a short cable. The power indicator light (relatively large) is located in the left corner next to the cable port and is blue in color. It remains steady when the console is simply turned on and flashes brightly when the hard drive starts operating. It would be best not to place it in your direct line of sight, as it may be bothersome.
Αγοράστηκε στην τιμή των 60e για αποθηκευτική επέκταση σε PS4 slim (1T HDD) . Δεν βαθμολογώ την αντοχή σε βάθος χρόνου ,αφού τον έχω 1 μήνα περίπου .Η εγγύηση του βέβαια είναι 3ετής ,όσο και των 2 άλλων γνωστών εταιριών που κυκλοφορούν εξωτερικούς με την ένδειξη "gaming" . Μετά από αναζήτηση, δεν μπόρεσα να βρω λεπτομέρειες που να δικαιολογούν τη διαφορά στην τιμή με τις αντίστοιχες "απλές" εκδόσεις .Η εταιρία ισχυρίζεται πως έχει ειδικό firmware που του επιτρέπει να είναι διαρκώς "ΟΝ" απροβλημάτιστα, ότι και αν σημαίνει αυτό (θερμοκρασίες, φθορά, κτλ) .
Με την έκδοση των 4Τ να είναι στα 80e ,20 παραπάνω δηλαδή για 2πλάσια χωρητικότητα, νομίζω πως θα ήταν η καλύτερη επιλογή. Επίσης, χωρίς να ξέρω το γιατί, η Toshiba αποδίδει στις προδιαγραφές άλλο βάρος στη μεγάλη έκδοση ( + κάποια γραμμάρια) ,σε σχέση με του ενός και δύο Tera.
Η εμπειρία μου ως τώρα είναι θετική ,αφού τρέχει τα παιχνίδια απροβλημάτιστα ,αθόρυβα και χωρίς να διαπιστώνω (δια χειρός) αυξομειώσεις στη θερμοκρασία του ,έστω και αν έχω το συνήθειο να αφήνω την κονσόλα ανοιχτή και σε stand by (όπου τροφοδοτείται ο σκληρός) για πολλές ώρες και συνεχόμενα. Επίσης, με το μάτι (χωρίς να κάτσω να μετρήσω) μου έχει δημιουργηθεί η εντύπωση πως φορτώνει τα παιχνίδια ελαφρώς πιο γρήγορα από ότι ο εσωτερικός σκληρός της κονσόλας.
Τέλος ,η κατασκευή του είναι καλή (ραφιναρισμένο σωστά πλαστικό) ,που "γλιστράει" όμως και δεν φαίνεται να είναι ιδιαίτερα ανθεκτική σε ενδεχόμενη πτώση (χτύπα ξύλο!!). Μικρός σε μέγεθος ,όμως και με μικρό καλώδιο. Η ενδεικτική λυχνία λειτουργίας του (σχετικά μεγάλη) βρίσκεται στην αριστερή γωνία δίπλα από την υποδοχή του καλωδίου και είναι χρώματος Μπλε. Σταθερή όταν η κονσόλα είναι απλά αναμμένη και αναβοσβήνει έντονα όταν αρχίζει να λειτουργεί ο σκληρός .Καλό θα ήταν να μην τοποθετηθεί στο άμεσο οπτικό σας πεδίο, διότι ενδεχομένως να ενοχλήσει.
3 years later and it still works perfectly, knock on wood.
3 Χρόνια μετά και ακόμα δουλεύει κανονικότατα, φτου φτου.
