• Oral (≈ 30 sec): Avoid hot or cold foods/drinks for 10 minutes beforehand. Place the sensor under the tongue, to the left or right of the base, ensuring good contact. Keep your mouth closed and breathe through your nose.
• Rectal (≈ 30 sec): Use a suitable sensor cover and lubricant. Carefully insert the sensor approximately 2–3 cm, without applying pressure. 
• Armpit (3–5 minutes): The armpit must be dry. Place the sensor in the center of the armpit, in direct contact with the skin, and hold your arm firmly against your body. Wait 3–5 minutes, even if the beep sounds sooner. 

Important: An armpit measurement takes 3–5 minutes. Do not remove the thermometer as soon as it beeps if the instructions specify a longer measurement time.
