The Argon Audio SA2 power amplifier is a Class D stereo model rated at 2 × 100 W into 8 Ω. It supports wireless playback via AirPlay 2, Chromecast, Spotify Connect, DTS Play-Fi and Bluetooth 4.2 with AAC, while Wi-Fi also enables multi-room playback via AirPlay 2, Chromecast and DTS Play-Fi. The HDMI ARC input connects the amplifier to a TV, turns the amplifier on automatically with the TV and lets you control it using the TV remote.

The MM phono input connects a turntable, and there is also a stereo analogue RCA input and a digital optical input. Digital audio conversion is handled by a 32-bit ESS Sabre DAC, with a fully balanced signal path from the DAC to the speaker terminals. Separate power supplies for the analogue and digital circuits contribute to the amplifier’s operation, while the pre-out can be used for a subwoofer or an external power amplifier.
