Rena Rossi-Zairi was born in Athens and is the daughter of publisher Nikolaos Rossi. She has written over 200 children's books and 20 novels for adults, with total sales exceeding 1,300,000 copies. She has been awarded for her work, and two of her books have been adapted for television. She is married and the mother of two children.
