In the post-dictatorship history of Greece, there have never been so many and such significant changes, upheavals, and rearrangements as those that occurred during the decade from October 2009 to July 2019. This is the period during which Greece essentially went bankrupt, sought help from partners and creditors, came under international economic and political supervision, and eventually returned, for the time being, to a relative normality.

The mistakes of this decade are attempted to be described in this book not as yet another pessimistic critique but as a guide to avoiding their future repetitions as much as possible. This guide is not only for the political personnel of the country but mainly for every citizen who, with their vote, chooses and entrusts them with the management of their present and future, as well as that of the country.
