The Geo Bavicchi sprouter is made of terracotta and consists of three perforated trays, a bottom collection bowl, and a lid with a handle. The trays can be stacked or placed separately to create a dark, humid environment or allow air to circulate and light to enter during the seeds’ growth stages. The terracotta helps retain moisture, while the holes in the trays drain excess water into the collection bowl below.
To grow sprouts, distribute soaked and rinsed seeds across the trays and place the sprouter in a warm spot away from direct sunlight. Watering or misting should follow the seed instructions. Germination can take 3–10 days, depending on the seed variety. To clean, rinse thoroughly after use and leave to air-dry.
