For its price, it's a real bargain. It lacks in quality as it is made of plastic, but otherwise, it's just fine for its money.

I use it together with Flex, to watch movies on the TV. Very good for this use only, in terms of speed I would say normal, not super fast. For something more you should look for another one with a better processor and memory, but then the price goes up a lot.

For small office work it is perfect and upgrades the quality. You can schedule it to do backups automatically, it has easy installation and application software. I haven't set it up for cloud but it supports it.

VFM solution from Synology. Don't expect anything amazing in terms of speed, but it is not intended for that use; it is mainly for basic and reliable storage, mostly at home

I've been using it for 2 months now. It's very easy to operate and very fast. A big plus is that it connects by itself and backs up whatever you set it to with different cloud drives like Google Drive

Very useful! Bit of a learning curve setting it up but I'm using it for Plex on my internal network and it's working brilliantly.

With 2*toshiba 20tb mamr since the day it was installed, it works perfectly, synology software is excellent. network streaming everywhere without interruptions. setup super easy.

I put it in to have both my local and remote movies. It plays Plex perfectly, considering that on any device I put it on, it is new and plays the files natively, so it doesn't do any transcoding, which it can't do anyway due to its low power. However, if you don't have devices that are 10 years old, it's great because it doesn't need to do transcoding. It's not worth it if you're on the go with data because a 1080P movie is 2-2.5GB. I share my movies with friends in Greece and abroad without any issues, up to 4-5 devices simultaneously, locally and outside the network. For me, who only wants these features, it's definitely worth it

For a small business, I had my doubts about whether to get the J or the Blacks.
In the end, I did my job just fine, using it as a file server for 2 backups (along with an internal second hard drive and an external one).
The installation is generally easy, if you understand a little, or watch a video on YouTube for help, it will be helpful.
It is quiet because it is in a remote area. Based on what I read, I preferred Seagate instead of Western Digital.
I still have a lot to learn, it has many capabilities and functions. Okay, I could live without it

It can hold 2 3.5'' disks.
It has Raid (Ideal for Raid 1).
Excellent build quality.
Its software is an incredible environment with many customizations.

I have no negative (yet) experience.
