The Pro-Ject Audio Box E phono preamplifier amplifies and applies RIAA equalization to MM (Moving Magnet) cartridges, allowing you to connect a turntable to an audio system. Its design is inspired by Dr. Sykora, and its SMD circuit uses low-noise components and internal metal shielding. Its compact size allows it to be placed close to the turntable.

Gold-plated RCA sockets are used for both input and output, and an external power supply is included.

    It is a high-quality Phono box for connecting a turntable to an amplifier that does not have a corresponding input.
    Maybe it's because of the Sony Home Cinema I have, but I expected more volume.
    I have to turn it up almost all the way to hear it loud enough.
    The sound clarity is very good and is transmitted exactly as it should.
    I will check the connections of my amplifier to see if I can gain the 40db that the device promises.
    I recommend it for amateur use.
