ProJect Audio Phono Box E preamplifier for HiFi systems. The Phono Box E accepts MM cartridges and offers an audiophile music experience. With SMD circuitry, it keeps noise and distortion at a low level. The input and output sockets are gold-plated to maintain quality. The Phono Box E can be easily connected to a line input of your amplifier.

    It is a high-quality Phono box for connecting a turntable to an amplifier that does not have a corresponding input.
    Maybe it's because of the Sony Home Cinema I have, but I expected more volume.
    I have to turn it up almost all the way to hear it loud enough.
    The sound clarity is very good and is transmitted exactly as it should.
    I will check the connections of my amplifier to see if I can gain the 40db that the device promises.
    I recommend it for amateur use.
