Its body is made of mahogany with a specially designed internal chamber and is paired with a solid Sitka spruce top. The instrument’s acoustic response is supported by the patented Stringed Instrument Resonance System (SIRS), which optimizes natural resonance and sound projection. It features a hybrid electronic system with two pickups: a Fishman piezo pickup under the saddle and a Fender Acoustasonic Noiseless single-coil magnetic pickup. Tone shaping is managed via a three-way voice selector and a Blend Knob, while the instrument is completed with a mahogany neck featuring a Modern Deep C profile and a rosewood fingerboard.

Body Construction, Materials & SIRS Acoustic Technology
The Fender Acoustasonic Standard Telecaster is built around a fully hollow body made of mahogany, designed to follow the geometry of the classic Telecaster but with an integrated ergonomic forearm contour for enhanced playing comfort. The top is made of solid Sitka spruce, offering a high strength-to-weight ratio, a wide dynamic range, and an immediate acoustic response. At the center of the instrument is the patented Stringed Instrument Resonance System (SIRS), which incorporates a tuned air channel extending from the soundhole into the body.
Hybrid Electronic System & Voice Selector
It combines two distinct types of pickups: a Fishman Under-Saddle Transducer piezo pickup positioned beneath the bridge saddle, and a Fender Acoustasonic Noiseless single-coil magnetic pickup in the bridge position. The signal is managed via a 3-way switch and a Blend Knob. Each switch position provides access to two distinct pairs of tonal voices (Voice A and Voice B), which can be selected individually or blended proportionally using the Blend Knob. The tonal range extends from traditional large-body acoustic tones (Dreadnought and Small Body) to clean and slightly overdriven, hum-free Telecaster electric tones.
Ergonomic Neck, Rosewood Fingerboard & Accessories
The neck is crafted from solid mahogany with an ergonomic Modern Deep "C" profile and satin urethane finish, ensuring fast, consistent hand movement without friction buildup. The solid rosewood fingerboard has a 9.5" (241 mm) radius and features 22 Narrow Tall frets along the 25.5" (648 mm) scale. The 1.6875" (42.86 mm) nut and bridge pins are made from Graph Tech TUSQ synthetic material, ensuring balanced transfer of the strings’ mechanical energy to the soundboard. Tuning stability is maintained by the chrome-plated Fender Standard Cast/Sealed Staggered tuning machines, while the exterior Satin Polyester matte finish in Honeycomb Sunburst effectively protects the wood without restricting free acoustic resonance.
