The Isle of Dogs tells the story of Atari, the 12-year-old ward of the corrupt Mayor Kobayashi. When, by executive decree, all the dogs of the city of Megasaki are exiled to a vast garbage dump, Atari embarks alone on a mini junior turbo-prop and flies to Trash Island in search of his security dog, Spots. There, with the help of a group of new mixed-breed friends, he begins an epic journey that will determine the fate and future of the entire Region.
