Basic Features
Swamp Ash Body Construction & Flamed Ash Top
The guitar body is made from select Swamp Ash, paired with a Flamed Ash top. Swamp ash is known for its light weight and strong acoustic response, delivering balanced bass and clear treble with a natural midrange snap. The flamed ash top adds stiffness and tonal clarity. The Open Pore Black Burst finish leaves the wood pores exposed, without thick layers of lacquer, allowing the body to vibrate freely. Deep cutaways in the horns and an ergonomic contour make it easier to position the picking hand and ensure a stable center of gravity when playing standing or seated.
Roasted Maple/Walnut Neck & Stainless Steel Frets
The neck is made of 5 pieces of Roasted Maple and Walnut (Roasted Maple & Walnut). The heat-treatment process removes residual moisture and stabilizes the fiber structure, providing resistance to sudden changes in temperature and humidity. The Roasted Maple fingerboard features a flat 15.75" (400 mm) radius and a 25.5" (648 mm) scale length, optimized for fast legato and arpeggios. It has 24 Stainless Steel frets, which provide virtually frictionless string bends and exceptional wear resistance. The Luminlay side dots glow in the dark, providing precise visual orientation in low-light conditions.
Fishman Fluence HSS Electronics & Cort CFA-III Hardware
The instrument is equipped with a Fishman Fluence HSS configuration: an Open Core Classic humbucker at the bridge and two Single Width single-coil pickups. The Push-Pull switches on the Volume and Tone controls activate multiple tonal voicings, ranging from vintage PAF tones to modern active output and classic hum-free single-coil sounds. The Cort CFA-III Tremolo bridge features a base plate, saddles and sustain block made exclusively from solid stainless steel for clear attack and long sustain. Combined with the Cort Staggered Locking tuners and Graph Tech Black TUSQ nut, it delivers excellent tuning stability during heavy tremolo use.
