Negative: It is anything but spill proof! It leaks water from the lid if I turn it horizontally and then stand it upright again. No matter how many times I gave it a chance (the first time I thought maybe I hadn’t tightened the lid properly myself), if it is turned on its side it slowly drips water. Which makes it useless for carrying in my bag or gym bag, for example.
