Select the thickness using the side dial. The safety position covers the blades for storage. The safety holder keeps fruit or vegetables in place while cutting and protects your hands from the blades. The case protects the cutting inserts, while the storage stand keeps the accessories together. The mandoline and accessories can be washed under running water.
