Pierre, a young French worker, sees his life collapsing: he is fired from his job, his beloved leaves him, and his landlord throws him out. Homeless and desperate, he wanders the streets of Paris, struggling to survive in the harsh world hidden behind the bright lights and expensive shops of the wealthy.
