I have a Ryzen 9 7900x and until now I was using it with a be quiet dark pro 5 fan, which is heavy duty. The difference with the Arctic Liquid Freezer is huge. I see temperatures 10 degrees lower so far. Sometimes if the workload increases it can be quite audible, but generally the decibels are low. For 90 euros, it is more than worth it.

I would give it 4.5 if I could, but I gave it 4 to have a backup in case of unfairness. It's a good liquid cooler, it keeps the temperatures of the 5900x more easily during gaming, so in my case the purchase was worth it! I was a bit lucky because I thought it wouldn't fit in my case, but fortunately, my foresight to buy it with space for liquid cooling worked out well because the case is not from a well-known company! I thought it would fit tightly, but it fit just as it would in a Corsair, Lian LI, or Cooler Master!

  • Very good on its own for its price. I have had Asus and Corsair in the past. No difference in performance or noise. In fact, both Asus ones I had made more noise at the pump. If you don't care about screen and design, this is for you. Simple and powerful. It also cools the memory modules.

For the money it costs, it is a very decent AIO, especially for AMD processors it has very good performance. As for the non-pro version, the only difference is in the fans; for someone who has the first version on an AMD CPU, they won’t see any difference, maybe 1 to 2 degrees lower in an R23 test at most. The stronger fans were added to provide performance for Intel CPUs, something that was lacking before due to the weaker fans, so there is no substantial change in the pump or anything else.

  • In prime95 (small & smallest FFTs) and OCCT extreme stress test, it did not go above 81 degrees. In games, it reaches a max of 50 - 55 degrees Celsius with everything on ultra graphics, AMD EXPO and Precision Boost Overdrive set to advanced -25 negative all cores. In short, this specific liquid cooler is a beast in cooling performance, it doesn't even flinch. The best thing I've ever bought. Kudos to Arctic once again.

One of the best budget options, if not the best. I have it on an R9 5900X overclocked to 4.6GHz and it keeps it at 55 degrees under benchmark conditions (90%+ Usage). I highly recommend it for its price.

Very good water cooling, although quite larger in volume than the usual 3-fan ones. Temperatures at idle are 30-35 and 45-55 during gaming and AI.
Another complaint is that for those who have a motherboard with Argb technology, they will need an rgb to argb hub so that the water cooling LEDs work, since it only has an rgb connection.

It seems quite good... it just makes a tremendous noise. On a Ryzen 9... with 9070 xt, the machine without setting fan curves at first sounded like entering an OTE server room. They told me that when your PC is ready it should operate silently. I'm still looking into it.

At the moment, I believe this is the best value-for-money liquid cooler! I have installed it on a Ryzen 7 9800X3D and it cools it perfectly. It hasn't exceeded temperatures above 55°C while playing heavy games like BF6, PUBG, etc., all in 4K.

  • Amazing AIO for its price. There is nothing else in this category that comes close to its performance. Whatever I have done to the CPU (heavy overclocking, many benchmarks), it never goes above 75 degrees Celsius. Idle 30-35, moderate gaming 50-55, heavy use 60-70. All this with an AMD 9700x overclocked to 5.7GHz. Above its limits, that is. Play around a bit with the fan settings through the BIOS or the motherboard, whatever suits you, because by default, it ramps up the fan speed very easily even when it's not needed, resulting in the fans being quite audible.

Although a good product, artic disappointed me regarding the manual. The product does not have clear instructions as you would expect, just a leaflet and a small note telling you to scan the QR code to take you to an installation guide video on YouTube, which is disappointing and does not help as it should! The camera angle is deliberately bad, there is no sound... and there is no detailed installation description!!

    Note:
WHEN you get to the point of installing the fan on the CPU, make sure you have someone help you hold the liquid cooler because it will be difficult to do it alone, and make sure the black bars are loosened (not fully tightened) so that you can install the fan on top, otherwise if they are fully tightened you won't be able to!

    I have no words!
I had the NZXT KRAKEN X62, a very good cooler for its time, everyone knows that. BUT!

On an i7 12700k without overclock, with the genuine bracket that NZXT released to fit properly on the 1700 socket, I had 77 degrees in Cinebench. To preempt the smart ones, I know there is no problem with that temperature, especially when you're stressing the CPU at 100%.

The ARCTIC, with the same setup, did not exceed 54 degrees with very little undervoltage and the fans running at 1920 RPM out of the 3000 max!

Installation was super easy, the radiator is huge, its price is wonderful, and the fans are beautiful. Overall, the most value-for-money choice by far.

If you want something negative, the pump makes a little noise, but personally, it doesn't bother me at all.

Truly one of the best coolers in terms of price and performance that I have ever bought. It has been installed on a Ryzen 7 5700X with PBO (Precision Boost Overdrive) enabled and I managed to reach 152W at 88C without any thermal throttling.

The temperatures (idle temps), with the AIO Pump speed at 45% (1890 RPM), are around 35−40C.

As for gaming, the cooler is really silent with the processor staying around 48−56C during gameplay.

Coming from an EVGA 280 liquid cooler, the difference I saw in temperature was around 5 degrees lower (5700x3d), the only complaint is the fans which for me make quite a bit of noise above 50%.

It is very good for its price and I think I don't need anything more in terms of performance. Something minor that bothered me is that their RGB is not that impressive and there is a big deviation from reality. In the photo, the five on top are Arctic and the three below are Asus. Just if you get it, only use Arctic fans so you don't have differences in color.

For the Asus x670e Hero you have to remove the protective cover on the VRM to install it because it is an offset mount for the 9800x3d, otherwise it hits the SSD heatsink. In general, I had a Noctua NH-U12A and upgraded to this AIO. Well, it's a whole different story. With CO, +200MHz and motherboard limits at 80 degrees in Cinebench, it doesn't reach them.

The top AIO at this price for the Ryzen 7 9800x3d processor, which puts great emphasis on the spot where the processor gets hot.

  • I have a Ryzen 9 7900x and until now I was using it with a be quiet dark pro 5 fan, which is heavy duty. The difference with the Arctic Liquid Freezer is huge. I see temperatures 10 degrees lower so far. Sometimes if the workload increases it can be quite audible, but generally the decibels are low. For 90 euros, it is more than worth it.

  • I would give it 4.5 if I could, but I gave it 4 to have a backup in case of unfairness.
