Whatever you say about this IoT gem, it will still be, in practical terms, not nearly enough! And if your search brought you here while reading the comments, you should stop looking any further!

A tiny hub that practically turns everything from ACs and TVs to set-top boxes and soundbars into smart devices, even if they don’t have WiFi, and now everything will be available on your phone with custom rules and almost all of their functions.

If you combine all of the above with Google Home and the Tapo app connection (and therefore all the devices you installed on it) with voice commands, the user experience for the money it asks for is literally a joke!

I connected a Toyotomi AC, a 2020 LG TV, a soundbar and an EON set-top box instantly, and now the huge convenience of being away and remotely turning on almost half the living room is unbelievable!

A small EPIC!

Unfortunately, it only supports on/off for my amplifier when I give a command to ALEXA or GOOGLE... it does not support other commands. I will come back for other devices.

Fantastic product. I got a second, third, and fourth one and gave one as a gift and they are still thanking me. It works perfectly with the 2-3 air conditioners that didn't have wifi.

Very good, apart from the functions with the Tapo smart devices, it has also helped me with old devices in my space, e.g. television and air conditioner.

I got it today and I am amazed! The purchase was purely influenced by the comments of friends here. I have connected the air conditioner, TV, and I even managed in a strange way to connect the soundbar. Fast and extremely effective!!!

Better than I expected. Immediate connection every time through the Tapo app, it succeeded on the first try to find the correct control for my Panasonic air conditioner (over a decade old) with all the functions of the original remote. Most importantly, it communicates excellently with the air conditioner, executing commands instantly through the mobile app, much better than the original remote, without having direct line of sight to the A/C's infrared receiver (it's not behind an obstacle but the position where I have placed it is definitely not ideal)!

Purchased for connection with the air conditioner, works perfectly, connected very easily.

seriously super happy with this product. It detected both Sony Bravia tv and Mitsubishi air-condition. Can remotely control these devices, but it also offers automations. E.g. if ac power measurements at smart plug too high, lower ac temperature, or if balcony magnetic switch open for more than two minutes, lower fan speed or switch off from the remote controller command, not barbarically cut off the power supply (and get the compressor damaged). Super product.

It does exactly what it promises, I have connected my air conditioner and I can turn it on and off whenever I want. Very good for its price!

It does what it promises, especially with the air conditioner. It's very good that I can turn it on before I go home via Alexa.

Simple to use, you install it in a position where you can see all the appliances and then charge all the remote controls.
If they are not present, it is possible to invent them

Very good range.
It does not connect with all IR devices because its frequency range is small and you cannot configure it.
If you only have Tapo devices and maybe a TV, it's just right.

It also has a USB type C port
It has 2 holes on the back so you can mount it on the wall
I read that it is also a hub for other tapo devices but for now it will not be used for that purpose
