Leather Jacket is a motorcycle jacket with a regular and sporty fit, made from fine Tutu cowhide leather 1.2 mm with strategically placed perforations for maximum ventilation on the hottest days.
The focus on ergonomics led to studies on riding positions in order to refine details designed to reduce pressure on the neck, such as the Veloce Racing Neck collar, and ensure maximum comfort and mobility with the integration of wide S1 bi-elastic fabrics as well as adjustment systems on the hips.
Riding comfort is combined with superior levels of protection. With EN 17092 class AA certification, the Racing 5 Perf. jacket features composite protectors certified to CE Level 2 standard on the elbows and shoulders, as well as replaceable aluminum inserts on the shoulders that ensure a more natural sliding motion in case of a fall and a pocket designed to accommodate G-type back and chest protectors.
As a result of studies for the correct fit, the jacket can be comfortably worn over the Dainese Smart Air airbag device without needing to purchase a larger size. The proper fit of the sleeves prevents the protectors from shifting to the wrong area during a fall, thus always ensuring maximum possible protection for riders. Additionally, loops that secure the Smart Air to the jacket allow riders to wear and remove it with a single motion, so the airbag always maintains the correct position under the jacket.
