Omega Force, known for the popular Dynasty Warriors series, created Kiwami to deliver the ultimate Toukiden experience, with significant upgrades and improvements to gameplay features. Kiwami includes all content from Age of Demons, the ability to create custom characters, and many additions that enhance the story and content of the game. With over 300 characters whose souls can be used to strengthen the team and defeat enemies, Kiwami unfolds against a backdrop inspired by various historical periods of Japan, continuing the story of humanity's last effort for survival.

Kiwami was released for the PlayStation 4 and introduces new players to its extensive, demonic world, doubling the size of the original game. New and returning hunters will take on their mission to end the age of demons and explore all that Kiwami has to offer. Additionally, Toukiden: Kiwami features a robust multiplayer mode, where players can team up to take down powerful ONI demons either with NPC allies or in cooperation with up to four players.
