When a revolution broke out at Manor Farm, the animals drove out its owner and took over themselves. Thus, they lived much happier and worked with enthusiasm, knowing that the fruits of their labor would no longer be exploited by any human and that equality and justice would prevail on the farm.
For a while, all the animals ate better and were more rested, while the pigs took over its management. However, as time went by, the pigs changed and began to behave like humans...
The English author George Orwell wrote Animal Farm in 1943, but the allegorical story of the animal revolution is still read to this day and is, in fact, more relevant than ever.
