Description

Upgrade your game with the 8BitDo Ultimate 2C Wireless in stunning purple. A high-performance controller, compatible with PC and Android, offering dual connectivity via 2.4Ghz and Bluetooth. With a top Polling Rate of 1000Hz for zero latency and redesigned shoulder buttons (R4/L4), it is the ultimate tool for gamers seeking precision, speed, and the classic build quality of 8BitDo.

Ultimate Speed with 1000Hz Polling Rate

The 8BitDo Ultimate 2C is designed for competitive gaming, offering a 1000Hz polling rate both in wired and wireless 2.4Ghz connection. This means that every move you make is transferred to the screen in just 1ms, eliminating input lag. Whether you are playing fast-paced shooters or demanding platformers, the controller’s response is instantaneous, giving you the advantage you need to prevail over your opponents at every critical moment of the game.

Dual Wireless Connectivity & Compatibility

Flexibility is the key in the Ultimate 2C, as it supports two wireless connection modes: 2.4Ghz for lag-free gaming on your PC and Bluetooth for easy connection with Android devices. Switching between modes is simple and fast, making the controller the ideal companion for gaming at home or on the go. Additionally, full compatibility with Windows 10/11 ensures a plug-and-play experience without the need for complicated settings or drivers.

Hall Effect Sticks for Precision & Durability

Say goodbye to stick drift thanks to the Hall Effect sensors used by the 8BitDo Ultimate 2C. The analog sticks use magnetic technology instead of mechanical friction, offering exceptional precision that lasts for years. Additionally, the controller features extra bumpers (L4/R4) for customizing your commands, analog triggers for precise control in driving games, and a rechargeable battery that provides up to 32 hours of continuous gameplay on a single charge.

For €25 to €30 it's amazing. Now during the holidays and on Black Friday when they had it at €60, definitely not, add another €10-20 and get a really good one. It has very good connectivity, the build quality is not bad at all although in some places you feel that it's not made for heavy use.

It is easy to use and works even on the phone! Crazy! I bought it to play Silksong, a completely different experience from a keyboard. It connects with the dongle (USB) but also via Bluetooth and is about the size of an Xbox controller. Steam detects it automatically and /it just works/ without extra software/app and nonsense. And! the battery lasts for 6+ hours of use.

The use I make is mainly for Windows games, it proved to be a beast with great battery life. Only in one game do I experience drift and I still don't know what causes it

For use on Linux (Fedora), it is not recognized with the dongle or wired, only via Bluetooth. Yes, supposedly it has more latency, but for casual use in an emulator, which is what I want it for, I don't mind. On Windows, it probably won't have a problem.
R1 and L1 are the noisiest buttons, but that doesn't bother me.
Very nice color and the plastic feels sturdy, as do the sticks.

edit 24/03/24 If you use Arch Linux, the controller is recognized as an event and not as js. Either you play with the kernel so it recognizes it as a controller, or you use SteamInput (for example, on my ThinkPad where I play emulated games, I run the emulator through Steam so it converts the signal to SDL and it works). It's a shame it's not more plug and play, but if you check the 8bitdo website, it says only Windows is supported

Lightweight, value for money controller with quality construction and nice colors. I tried it playing Battleblock Theatre, Arkham Knight Asylum, Hollow Knight—no problems at all :)
Just right for PC—if you want it for PS4/PS5/Switch/Xbox etc., you will need a special adapter.

A very good, beautiful and cute controller. Easy on the hands. The only downside is that the buttons are not silent. But overall a very smart purchase!

I had a controller before this one which didn't have hall effect on the triggers and after a few months the RT/R2 broke so I had to get another one and I chose this. It has hall effect on the triggers and sticks so theoretically they won't break. I'm 1.90m tall and have big hands and it's not too small or uncomfortable for me to hold like many people say. The battery for me is very good, it lasts several three-hour sessions before needing to be charged. It's also very responsive and the movements in games are very smooth. The color is also very nice. I got it for €30 and I would have bought it even if it cost €35-40 but not more.
