We were gifted the first book of the series, "The Leaf Thief," which is really very good both as a story and in its illustrations, and the quality of the book is excellent. Additionally, my daughter, who is only one year old, loved it, so I decided to get the whole series even though I think it is meant for older children. Obviously, the illustration and quality remain consistent. The story in this particular book is more educational and not as humorous compared to "The Leaf Thief." However, it still remains a very good choice.

Now I absolutely adore Squirrel... His naivety, his blunders, his questions, the innocent way he sees things, and the fact that he immediately runs for help to his good friend, Bird, fascinates me.
"The Sun Thief" is another original and funny children's fairy tale, for kids from three years old and up. My boys, who are already five and a half, were thrilled as soon as they saw it. They love Squirrel very much and we immediately sat down and read it.
This book is just as colorful as all the others, but here on many pages a bright yellow-ochre color prevails... The light of the sun, of joy, of liveliness, and optimism.
As in the previous three books, the humorous sketches with wonderful colors captivate little and big eyes!
The dialogues remain smart and concise in large font size, which makes it easy for small children to read... Although I felt that this book has more text.

Ο καιρός όμως περνάει, οι μέρες μικραίνουν συνεχώς και το καλοκαιράκι σιγά σιγά φεύγει... Ο Σκίουρος έχει σοβαρές υποψίες ότι κάτι άλλο συμβαίνει... Υπάρχει ένας κλέφτης του ήλιου!

Τώρα πια υπεραγαπώ τον Σκίουρο... Η αφέλειά του, οι γκάφες, οι απορίες, ο αθώος τρόπος που βλέπει τα πράγματα, αλλά και το ότι τρέχει αμέσως για βοήθεια στον καλό του φίλο, το Πουλί, με συναρπάζει.
"Ο Κλέφτης του Ήλιου" είναι ένα ακόμα πρωτότυπο και αστείο παιδικό παραμύθι, για παιδάκια από τριών χρονών και πάνω. Τα αγοράκια μου που είναι ήδη πεντέμισι, ενθουσιάστηκαν μόλις το είδαν. Αγαπούν πολύ τον Σκίουρο κι αμέσως καθίσαμε και το διαβάσαμε.
Και αυτό το βιβλίο είναι εξίσου πολύχρωμο με όλα τα άλλα, αλλά εδώ σε πολλές σελίδες επικρατεί ένα φωτεινό κίτρινο-κροκί χρώμα... Το φως του ήλιου, της χαράς, της ζωντάνιας και της αισιοδοξίας.

Μέσα από την αστεία και φαινομενικά απλή ιστορία, τα μικρά παιδάκια μαθαίνουν για την αλλαγή των εποχών και τις αλλαγές που φέρνει μαζί της. Για το καθημερινό ταξίδι του ήλιου και την εναλλαγή μέρας και νύχτας, αλλά και για τα νυκτόβια ζώα, όπως οι κουκουβάγιες και η νυχτερίδες!

We were gifted the first book of the series, "The Leaf Thief," which is really very good both as a story and in its illustrations, and the quality of the book is excellent. Additionally, my daughter, who is only one year old, loved it, so I decided to get the whole series even though I think it is meant for older children. Obviously, the illustration and quality remain consistent. The story in this particular book is more educational and not as humorous compared to "The Leaf Thief." However, it still remains a very good choice.
Μας χάρισαν το πρωτο βιβλίο της σειράς το "ο κλέφτης των φύλλων" που είναι πραγματικά παρα πολυ καλό και σαν ιστορία, και στο σκίτσο και η ποιότητα του βιβλίου είναι εξαιρετική. Επιπλέον το αγάπησε η κόρη μου που είναι μόλις ενός έτους οπότε αποφάσισα να πάρω όλη τη σειρά αν και θεωρώ ότι είναι για μεγαλύτερα παιδάκια. Προφανώς το σκίτσο και η ποιότητα

But time passes, the days keep getting shorter and summer is slowly leaving... Squirrel has serious suspicions that something else is going on... There is a thief of the sun!
At first, I hesitantly got "The Leaf Thief"... But since my kids loved it, I bought the second book, "The Snow Thief"... Later, "My Own Flower"... As soon as I discovered that a fourth book, "The Sun Thief," was out, I bought it right away...
Now I absolutely adore Squirrel... His naivety, his blunders, his questions, the innocent way he sees things, and the fact that he immediately runs for help to his good friend, Bird, fascinates me.
"The Sun Thief" is another original and funny children's fairy tale, for kids from three years old and up. My boys, who are already five and a half, were thrilled as soon as they saw it. They love Squirrel very much and we immediately sat down and read it.
This book is just as colorful as all the others, but here on many pages a bright yellow-ochre color prevails... The light of the sun, of joy, of liveliness, and optimism.
As in the previous three books, the humorous sketches with wonderful colors captivate little and big eyes!
The dialogues remain smart and concise in large font size, which makes it easy for small children to read... Although I felt that this book has more text.
Through the funny and seemingly simple story, little children learn about the changing of the seasons and the changes it brings. About the sun’s daily journey and the alternation of day and night, but also about nocturnal animals, such as owls and bats!
What can I say about the cover... My beloved Squirrel and his friend Bird, in a clearing at night... Squirrel shines his flashlight and behind them a bright sun appears... Or is it the full moon? Even here there is a funny confusion!
At the end of the book, there is useful information to help children better understand the alternation of day and night, and the Equator. Also, to get to know nocturnal animals and their special characteristics.
"The Sun Thief" is an enjoyable children's book for young and old!

Το αχτύπητο και πολύ επιτυχημένο δίδυμο Σκίουρος-Πουλί ξαναχτυπά... Αυτή την φορά είναι καλοκαίρι και οι δύο φίλοι απολαμβάνουν ξαπλωμένοι τον υπέροχο κίτρινο και ζεστό ήλιο. Ο καιρός όμως περνάει, οι μέρες μικραίνουν συνεχώς και το καλοκαιράκι σιγά σιγά φεύγει... Ο Σκίουρος έχει σοβαρές υποψίες ότι κάτι άλλο συμβαίνει... Υπάρχει ένας κλέφτης του ήλιου!
Στην αρχή, διστακτικά, πήρα το "Ο Κλέφτης των Φύλλων"... Επειδή όμως τα παιδάκια μου το λάτρεψαν, αγόρασα το δεύτερο βιβλίο, "Ο Κλέφτης του Χιονιού"... Αργότερα "Το δικό μου λουλούδι"... Μόλις ανακάλυψα ότι βγήκε και τέταρτο βιβλίο, "Ο Κλέφτης του Ήλιου", το πήρα αμέσως...
Τώρα πια υπεραγαπώ τον Σκίουρο... Η αφέλειά του, οι γκάφες, οι απορίες, ο αθώος τρόπος που βλέπει τα πράγματα, αλλά και το ότι τρέχει αμέσως για βοήθεια στον καλό του φίλο, το Πουλί, με συναρπάζει.
"Ο Κλέφτης του Ήλιου" είναι ένα ακόμα πρωτότυπο και αστείο παιδικό παραμύθι, για παιδάκια από τριών χρονών και πάνω. Τα αγοράκια μου που είναι ήδη πεντέμισι, ενθουσιάστηκαν μόλις το είδαν. Αγαπούν πολύ τον Σκίουρο κι αμέσως καθίσαμε και το διαβάσαμε.
Και αυτό το βιβλίο είναι εξίσου πολύχρωμο με όλα τα άλλα, αλλά εδώ σε πολλές σελίδες επικρατεί ένα φωτεινό κίτρινο-κροκί χρώμα... Το φως του ήλιου, της χαράς, της ζωντάνιας και της αισιοδοξίας.
Όπως και στα τρία προηγούμενα βιβλία, τα χιουμοριστικά σκίτσα με τα υπέροχα χρώματα αιχμαλωτίζουν μικρά και μεγάλα ματάκια!
Οι διάλογοι παραμένουν έξυπνοι και περιεκτικοί σε μεγάλο μέγεθος γραμματοσειράς, που κάνει εύκολη την ανάγνωση από τα μικρά παιδάκια... Αν κι ένιωσα ότι σε αυτό το βιβλίο έχει περισσότερο κείμενο.
Μέσα από την αστεία και φαινομενικά απλή ιστορία, τα μικρά παιδάκια μαθαίνουν για την αλλαγή των εποχών και τις αλλαγές που φέρνει μαζί της. Για το καθημερινό ταξίδι του ήλιου και την εναλλαγή μέρας και νύχτας, αλλά και για τα νυκτόβια ζώα, όπως οι κουκουβάγιες και η νυχτερίδες!
Τι να πω και για το εξώφυλλο... Ο αγαπημένος μου Σκίουρος και ο φίλος του το Πουλί, σε ένα ξέφωτο τη νύχτα... Ο Σκίουρος φωτίζει με τον φακό του και πίσω τους ξεπροβάλλει ένας λαμπερός ήλιος... Ή μήπως είναι το ολόγιομο φεγγάρι; Ακόμα κι εδώ υπάρχει ένα αστείο μπέρδεμα!
Στο τέλος του βιβλίου υπάρχουν χρήσιμες πληροφορίες, που βοηθούν τα παιδάκια να καταλάβουν καλύτερα την εναλλαγή ημέρας και νύχτας, και τον Ισημερινό. Επίσης να γνωρίσουν τα νυκτόβια ζώα και τα ιδιαίτερα χαρακτηριστικά τους.
